Start the session

With the token you got when requesting it, the cardholder's browser starts the session in PAR. From that session, the cardholder enrolls and manages autopays with the cards you sent.

Send the cardholder

POST {BASE_URL}/nuevopat/tokenLogin

Send the cardholder through a POST form from their browser, with the token in the token field. You can do it in a full window or inside an iframe, if your site's origin is authorized for your issuer.

What the cardholder sees

PAR consumes the token and opens the session. What the cardholder sees depends on whether they already have a PAR account with the document you sent:

  • If they have an account, they go to their autopays and can enroll new ones.
  • If they do not have an account, they go straight to enrolling an autopay, without creating an account first.

In both cases, the session is limited to the cards you sent in the token request: PAR offers them to enroll autopays without the cardholder having to type them, and only shows what belongs to those cards.

Return and errors

  • Return: if you sent direccionRegreso, PAR offers the cardholder to go back to that address when they finish.
  • Login error: if the login fails and you sent a valid direccionError, PAR sends the cardholder to that address. If you did not send it, it shows them a page telling them the session could not be started.
  • Invalid token: if the token is missing, does not exist, was already used, expired or was revoked, PAR answers 403 and shows an error page.

All errors are detailed in Errors.
